Our website gives EVERYONE a chance to market their item to the entire world on a site that has over 104 million registered users! Through our relationship with The UPS Storeā„¢, Instant Auctions makes it very easy and convenient for anyone in the U.S. to sell on eBay. 2. What is the benefit to me as a customer?

Our services make it extremely convenient to the customer. No longer do you have to keep up with your auctions, the emails from potential buyers, and which package ships to which address because Instant Auctions does everything for you! Our staff is very familiar with eBay's rules and auctions settings so as to maximize the final value of your item. We also take high-quality digital photographs of your item to put in the listing, which is very helpful to buyers so they can see the product they are bidding on and to you as a customer because a lot of people still don't have a digital camera. We will accept many different items ranging from sporting goods to electronics to jewelry. 15. Why does my item have to be worth more than $25?

Because our minimum service fee is $7.99, it is in your best interest to list items worth more than $25. If we accepted items worth less than this, it would mean receiving very little in return for your items.

[ Top ]

16. Why does my auction listing have to start at $9.99?

Our experienced eBay staff has determined that items starting at $9.99 usually end up with a higher final sale price because more bidders will pay attention to the auction listing. Although your item may sell for less than you think it is worth, Instant Auctions is legally bound to accept the highest bid, and so we list the items in a way we strive to get the most amount of money for you, our customer.

17. What happens if my item doesn't sell?

If your item does not sell during the auction, Instant Auctions will return the item to you if you agree to pay the return shipping charges and the appropriate eBay fees.

18. What if my item doesn't sell for $25 or more?

If your item does not reach $25, Instant Auctions charges a minimum of $7.99 fee for each auction. It is in our best interest and yours to have your listings end with a high sale price, so we will do everything we can to see that this happens. As stated above, Instant Auctions is legally bound to sell an item for the final price even if you think your item is worth more.

19. Why does Instant Auctions not sell all types of items?

In our research, certain items sell better on eBay than others. For this reason, we have compiled a list of what items we feel will be very successful on eBay. However, based on eBay policy and our own, Instant Auctions will not list hazardous items, sexually explicit material, illegal or counterfeit products, and any other item listed in eBay's prohibited items list. Also, we have chosen items that will hopefully give the best returns for you as a customer and can be easily shipped. If you have a question about an item not found on our list, please contact us to find out if we will accept it.

20. How much does it cost to use Instant Auctions' services?

Instant Auctions' fees are based on the item's final sale price:

  • 28% if the sale price is between $0 - $499.99

  • 23% if the sale price is between $500 - $999.99

  • 18% if the sale price is $1,000 and over

Unlike other trading assistants, we DO NOT charge a progressive fee. This means our commission is a flat rate based on the final sale price.

eBay also charges a progressive fee (plus $.70 listing fee):

  • 8.75% of the first $25

  • 2.75% of the next $975 ($25.01-$1000)

  • 1.5% of anything over $1000 ($1000.01+)

A transaction fee of 2.9% will also be assessed.
